Whitehall Capital has confirmed a new and innovative approach to holding various investments within its bridge financing fund; dubbed ‘Whitehall Capital Management Limited’. The company has struck an agreement with the US-based digital assets securities marketplace, Securitize.
The new partnership will enable investors in the specialist Whitehall fund to hold assets in a tokenized form. By using Securitize, investors can buy and sell units in the Fund and trade their holdings with other investors. Whitehall is the first United Kingdom-based firm to engage with Securitize in this manner.
While commenting on this initiative, the Managing Partner at Whitehall Capital, Anthony Bodenstein, said:
Buy Crypto Now“Our partnership with Securitize gives our investors an exciting and innovative new way to interact with us as the investment manager, and with other investors in the Fund.
“When investors register on the Securitize platform, they will see a digital representation of their investment, where their investment is shown in a number of tokenised units. They can see how their investment is performing – giving them greater visibility than they have at present – and trade units with other investors, posting on the portal that they wish to buy or sell.”
Whitehall Capital To Eliminate Third Parties
Notably, investment reports together with other vital information will be loaded to this portal. Since there is no secondary market for any investment in Whitehall, the company expects that investors will rapidly acquire and experience the advantages of working with the easy-to-use and interactive platform and holding funds in such a manner.
Bodenstein added:
“This will be one of the first tokens backed by loans which are secured by property assets in the real world, delivering an income of 8% to 10% per annum. Securitize delivers a self-serving facility and will be welcomed by new and existing investors alike. We believe it will have a particular appeal for tech-savvy, early adopters and look forward to welcoming many new clients to the Fund.”
Jamie Finn, President of Securitize, Inc said that his company is excited to partner with Whitehall Capital to serve as its transfer agent. He commented:
“As a transfer agent, Securitize is responsible for issuing tokenized shares in Whitehall Capital Management Limited, providing them to shareholders, tracking transaction activity, and ensuring all of this is securely recorded on the blockchain. We look forward to working with Whitehall Capital and its team.”
