4. Discussion
If a primary duty of a government is to protect the lives of its citizens, America has failed, miserably. Two main reasons:
- The Second Amendment is totally out of date, if not a mistake from the start.
- America is practically governance-less. It may take another civil war for America to seriously address the gun ownership issue. For more, read America: Guns vs. Slavery.
More profoundly, it is time to truly understand America, from the American Revolution on!
Meanwhile, many Americans will die of gun violence, unfortunately …
