Yes, he is losing it – the ability to govern as the President! The most recent example: he lost his temperament, totally, in response to the Mueller TV appearance, on top of having lost all the four games in the major league (President Trump’s Major League Score: 0:4). He will continue to lose in the coming weeks and months.
No, he is not losing it, because he has never had it!

1. Mueller’s TV appearance
Simply put, Mr. Mueller officially laid out the grounds for Trump’s impeachment, as the conclusion of his team’s 2-year-long investigation.
2. Trump’s response
President Trump lost his temperament, totally, in his response!
3. Yes, he has lost it and will lose more!
The legacy of an American President is typically defined by a major crisis out of his control. Two recent examples:
- George W. Bush: the 9/11 attacks on America. He badly mis-handled the responses!
- Barack Obama: the financial crisis in 2008. He handled it reasonably well, although government spending became totally out of control as a result.
Fortunately for America, President Trump has had no such crisis, yet. In that sense, he has been very lucky!
Unfortunately for America, rather than focusing on his job to truly MAGA (Make America Great Again), the attention-hungry President has manufactured many crises, from North Korea (North Korea Crisis: Real or Manufactured?), to Venezuela (What Is Really Going on in Venezuela?), to Iran (Trump is stoking a crisis with Iran and, now Iran is calling his bluff), and to China (The U.S. vs. China: From the Trade War to Commercial Sabotage!).
Worse yet for America, he is failing in handling all these manufactured crises, both at home and abroad! For more, read: President Trump’s Major League Score: 0:4.
Worst of all for America, It’s Over, President Trump! The biggest question is “how much damage is he going to do to America before he moves out of the White House?” For more, read: The U.S. vs. China: From the Trade War to Commercial Sabotage!
Now, to strike a balance, let me briefly ask and answer two questions:
- Is the economy good? Yes, apparently. No, in essence – think of the deficit and debt!
- Does he deserve credit for the apparently good economy? Yes, a little bit, especially on the part of de-regulation! Americans must understand that in a “free-market” economy like ours, the President gets too much blame when the economy is bad, or too much credit when the economy is good.
4. No, he is not losing it!
How can he lose something he has never had – the ability, or even the potential of it, to govern as the American President?
Three highlights:
- Donald Trump is a very flawed man!
- How could he have become the President?
- What is wrong with the establishment?
Let me elaborate on each …
4.1 Donald Trump is a very flawed man!
4.2 How could he have become the President?
“We, the People” are fed up with the establishment!
4.3 What is wrong with the establishment?

5. Discussion
Two big problems with the American Presidents:
- Getting re-elected ad nauseam throughout their first terms, a traditional problem throughout our history.
- Using war as a means for it, a more extreme problem in recent years (e.g. Bush II in Iraq and Obama in Iraq, Libya, and Syria).
Will President Trump use war as well?
Let’s keep a watchful eye on him!
Like many Americans, I voted for Donald Trump in 2016 because he was the lesser of two evils.
Unlike most Americans, I spelled the path to historic greatness for him: President Trump Must Be One-Term, Voluntarily!
Unfortunately for America, he did not listen.
Instead, he not only directly fell into the trap of our failing political system (i.e. getting re-elected ad nauseam), but also did it boldly without any pretense. Two informative readings:
- Donald Trump Filed for Re-election 5 Hours After He Was Sworn In to Office.
- President Trump: Getting Re-elected Ad Nauseam?
In other words, President Trump has never dedicated even one single day to governing, but has spent every day in the White House on campaigning for re-election!
What, then, is the key difference between governing and campaigning?

Still wondering about his continued bashing of Muslims, [illegal] immigrants, and China? Wonder not – It’s “Trump 2020”, stupid!
America, reform our political system, as I have suggested (American Democracy – Why is it failing & how to fix it?), or become a fiddle, second to China!
5. Closing
Donald Trump can no longer govern as the President! Everything must be done to prevent him from further damaging America, especially abroad, such as a shooting war with Iran, or even China!
