Hillary Clinton has been everywhere over the past few days, promoting her new book “What Happened“. I read the highlight of the book at Amazon.com, and was not impressed. Let me share some thoughts with you.

1. Hillary lost!
Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 Presidential election to Donald Trump for four main reasons:
- Trump is a genius in marketing, running a completely unorthodox campaign.
- Democracy, as we practice it today, is failing. Specifically, we Americans were so fed up with the existing political establishment that we were willing to try something, anything, different. Could anybody have possibly been more different than Trump?
- Americans, in their hearts, fear and dislike dynasties, by the blood line or marriage. Remember: America was created with neither a king nor a pope.
- A deep distrust of her, in particular.

2. It is the Electoral College, stupid!
Did she win the popular vote? Yes! But that is not what the Presidential election is about! It’s the Electoral College, stupid!
Now, after losing, she seems to want to change the Electoral College system …
As a matter of fact, the Electoral College system worked in 2016 exactly as envisioned by the Founding Fathers! Any doubt? Look at the two images below!
For those who get it, no explanation is necessary. For those who don’t, no explanation is possible.
3. President Trump
I voted for Trump for one simple reason: he was the lesser of two evils!
Today, despite all the problems with the young Trump Presidency, I have so far no regret in voting for him.
Two simple questions and answers:
- Has President Trump already made America better? Yes! Any doubt? Just look at the stock market!
- Will President Trump truly make America great again? Highly unlikely!
