Again, Paul Ryan is in the news (Paul Ryan: ‘I’m just not ready’ to back Donald Trump)! Again, it was for a wrong reason (Revealed: Here’s The One Person Mitt Romney Met With Right Before Giving Speech Slamming Trump)!
As Trump is about to meet with Speaker Ryan on Capitol Hill, there is no better time than now to understand who Paul Ryan really is!
1. Paul Ryan
Here is an excerpt from Wikipedia – Paul Ryan:
Paul Davis Ryan (born January 29, 1970) is the 54th and current Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives. Ryan is a member of the Republican Party who has served as the U.S. Representative for Wisconsin’s 1st congressional district since 1999. Ryan previously served as Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, from January 3 to October 29, 2015, and, before that, as Chairman of the House Budget Committee from 2011 to 2015. He was the Republican Party nominee for Vice President of the United States, running alongside Governor Mitt Romney in the 2012 election.[1][2]
2. Paul Ryan vs. Donald Trump
Throughout Trump’s Presidential campaign so far, Ryan has played a big negative role, with the worst being hiring Mitt Romney as the hit-man against Trump! For more, read: An Open Letter to Speaker Paul Ryan.
Today, Trump is the presumptive GOP nominee, and the GOP is desperately in need of unity behind Trump. Yet, Speaker Ryan has failed to timely endorse Trump! Why? Two main reasons:
- He wants to make himself look more important!
- He wants to establish himself as the “other” leader of the GOP, at least for the conservative wing per se!
What a selfish career politician!
3. Paul Ryan is a career politician!
Ryan’s recent big speech on “the state of American politics” (see video in the end) tells us a lot about who he really is. In his speech, Speaker Ryan bragged, in front of a bunch of know-nothing young Congressional interns, about his path to success: a know-nothing young Congressional intern learned everything from career politicians to become one of the best of them!
Here is the worst part: not only is he shameless as a career politician, he does not seem to be even aware of the shamelessness in his resume, particularly in this year of huge anti-establishment!
To know what a typical Congressman like Paul Ryan does on daily basis, read: Republican congressman exposes one of Congress’ dirty little secrets on ’60 Minutes’. Here is an excerpt:
Jolly said, as a member of Congress, entire schedules work around making time to fundraise, in his case $18,000 per day, for their reelection campaign.
“Republicans, Democrats and Independents can all agree on one thing – the public did not elect Members of Congress to go to Washington and spend their time raising money for their re-election,” Jolly said. “They are not paying members $174,000 a year to spend, in some cases 20 or 30 hours a week, on the phone dialing for dollars. But that is exactly what is happening.”
4. Is Paul Ryan truly a conservative?
The definition of a “conservative” has been so distorted that it requires a new and clear definition!
Based on this definition, Ted Cruz is no conservative (Donald Trump is more Conservative than Ted Cruz!), nor is Paul Ryan (Ryan Voted to ‘Send People to War’ .. But Did NOT Volunteer Himself)!
5. Closing
Speaker Ryan, you have a unique opportunity to save the GOP and help Trump “make America great again”. So wise up to seize the opportunity, or be tossed by history!
Now, please sit back. Watch this video and judge Speaker Ryan for yourself!
