When the UK took a vote on whether or not to bomb Syria recently, most Conservative MPs supported bombing and most Labour MPs opposed it.
However, the geographic breakdown of the vote is one of its most interesting aspects. Statista analysed every single MP who voted, finding that 70 percent of English MPs were in favour of bombing. By contrast, only 3 percent of Scottish MPs supported it.
This chart shows a geographical breakdown of the vote on Syria air strikes.
