Reverse Climate Change Without Eliminating Fossil Fuels?

Econintersect:  Climate change has factors that do not include the burning of fossil fuels.  Most people recognize that.  However, Alan Savory believes that one of the factors is not recognized and may be one of the dominant  contributors to climate change.  He asserts that the most important factor involves the degradation of millions of microclimates in about 2/3 of the earth's land area that has led to desertification of former grasslands.  And he has a solution, which has been clearly demonstarted, described in the following Ted Talk.
