Far East Stocks Up Across the Board in Early Friday Trading

Econintersect:  All eleven major markets in the far east are up in morning trading Friday (March 18).  Most are up substantially, four by more than 1%.  The leaders are Tokyo (+1.8%), Sydney (+1.4%), Seoul (+1.2%) and Taiwan (+1.1%).

Follow up:

The weakest markets are Singapore, up 0.3% and Malaysia, ahead by 0.2%.  Hong Kong and Jakarta are each up 0.5%, while Shanghai and Mumbai (Bombay) are both ahead by 0.6%.  New Zealand is +0.7%.
