Edited at Noon MDT on July 21, 2021 to correct the deadline for submittal to 11:59 pm MST on July 23 not July 24. Sorry about that.
The deadline for submitting your forecasts for the University of Arizona Southwest Monsoon Fantasy Forecast is July 23. If you did not enter last month, you can still enter now. Details follow. Notice that Arizona is on Standard Time not Daylight Saving Time. My advice for many reasons is not to wait to the last minute. There is probably not much to be gained by cutting it real close and computers being what they are and communications networks being what they are, it is better to be a bit early than one minute late.

Everyone can play. It does not matter where you live and it may be to your advantage if you do not live in this area due to the way they are scoring the game.

to enter the contest or to access your dashboard to enter your August forecasts for the five cities involved. What you submit is entirely up to you but the recent articles we have published might provide useful clues to enhance your chances. There are no guarantees of that but if you want to access those articles you can do that
here. It is up to you what you look at but the NOAA Four-Season Forecast would seem to be an obvious choice since it has their Early Outlook for August. But if you think JAMSTEC knows better than NOAA, the NOAA v. JAMSTEC article might be of interest. The contest organizers do not want contestants to have too much forecast information but we provide an intermediate term forecasts every day. Like with the the stock market, more inside information does not always lead to success. So it is up to every contestant to figure out their own strategy. I am a contestant in this contest also.
Play for fun and to increase your knowledge of the North American Monsoon (NAM). But there are prizes: two of them actually.

Entries from anywhere in the World are invited.
