Although pundits, CEOs, and academics seem to believe that solar power will be the energy source of the future.
Solar power is inadequate as a power source to provide electricity to future generations for three reasons.
Firstly, solar power does not actually provide benefits to the environment. Not emitting greenhouse gases is its primary good quality, whereas an ideal energy source would actively decrease the atmosphere’s level of greenhouse gases.
Secondly, solar panels cannot be recycled completely. They contribute to our problem of needing more natural resources than the Earth can produce.
Lastly, they’re inefficient. Manufacturing solar panels can’t even be powered by solar panels themselves. Instead, energy from nuclear power plants, coal, or natural gas has to be expended in the creation of solar panels.
