Most Americans will be receiving a new tax form this year.

It’s Form 1095, and it reports information about your health insurance coverage over the last year. There are three different versions of the 1095 (A, B and C) and it should arrive in January or early February. Here’s what information will be reported on the form and how you will be expected to use it when filing a tax return.
UPDATE: For tax year 2015, 1095-Bs and 1095-Cs will not be required to file your tax return. However, if you are supposed to file with Form 1095-A, it is required. If you have not yet received a 1095-B or 1095-C for 2015, you can file without the form.
