“It is impossible for us to accept such an origin-tracing plan,” Zeng Yixin, vice-minister of the National Health Commission (NHC) told reporters, “We will not accept such an origins-tracing plan as it, in some aspects, disregards common sense and defies science.” As per reports, Zeng also said that he was taken aback when he first read WHO’s plan because it consisted the unproven theory that Chinese violation of laboratory protocols had caused the coronavirus to leak during research.

China calls on WHO to expand probe to other nations.

Finding SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in asymptomatic people before the COVID-19 outbreak in Italy may reshape the history of pandemic.

Yes and no.

No, do not trust it, if you choose so.

Logical reasoning: which country has more incentive to lie about the other?

The U.S.! Two main reasons:

1. The U.S. is losing the head-on competition against China not only economically, but also ideologically. Nothing is more obvious than the fact that the U.S. has already indicated to the world that it alone can’t compete against China and the only way to have any chance of winning is by forming some alliances, while trying to slow China down by constantly throwing rocks at it, from initiating a trade war to all kinds of accusations (e.g., Tibet, Hong Kong, Xinjiang, and Taiwan).

Here is a recent news story: In ‘frank’ talks, China accuses U.S. of creating ‘imaginary enemy’. Below is an excerpt:

“The United States wants to reignite the sense of national purpose by establishing China as an ‘imaginary enemy’,” Xie was quoted as saying while the talks were underway.

The United States had mobilised its government and society to suppress China, he added.

“As if once China’s development is suppressed, U.S. domestic and external problems will be resolved, and America will be great again, and America’s hegemony can be continued.”

7. Still more discussion

A huge adversity like Covid-19 does not change anything essentially, but reveals who you are, truly, either as a country (Covid-19: East Asia vs. The World) or as a married couple (A Vaccine Or This Marriage: Conspiracy Theories Are Tearing Couples Apart).

As America struggles from the pandemic control to the vaccination resistance, there will be more distraction by the establishment (i.e., the lying politicians and the lying media), from finger-pointing to conspiracy theories.
