Today we will talk about how to form good habits, such as visiting casinos PlayAmo on a regular basis, drinking plenty of water, and going to bed at a certain time, thereby accustoming yourself to a healthier and more conscious lifestyle. Let’s dwell on sorting garbage: it turns out that it is not difficult at all.
Why Is This Needed?
In the past few years, the phrase zero waste has been heard on almost every corner: the movement that California housewife Bea Johnson started on her blog is taking over the world. There are more and more people on the planet, which means that we need more and more resources, and we create more and more garbage. Scientists have even learned how to calculate such a day in a year when we cross the border and begin to use resources that the Earth will not have time to replenish in a year – the “Day of Exceeding”, in 2020 it fell on August 22. This problem certainly requires an integrated approach, but there are things we can already do to push this date further. For example, reuse resources: to do this, you must at least start sorting them. Plus, quarantine and lockdown seem like the perfect time to learn and understand something new.
Sorting Is so Hard! (not Really)
Photos with a million jars and boxes with different types of garbage, a ton of waste that cannot be categorized in any way – all this makes you think that sorting is difficult (let others do it, but I don’t have time for this). But one has only to start – and everything turns out to be much easier than it seemed. Have patience and friends who will sort and support you along the way, and gradually accustom yourself to a new routine. Here are three easy steps to help you:
Start with theory: find out which recycling stations are nearby and what collection options are offered in your city. I do not want the impulse to sort to crash because of the difficulty with the export.
The next point of the plan is to find a place in the apartment. Someone collects garbage on the balcony, someone in the pantry (happy people who have them!), And someone is more convenient to collect and sort in the kitchen. A simple Google search will return many options for sorting bins, but in our experience, two tall (but not very bulky) one-meter boxes and a paper bag are ideal.
Now it’s time to learn exactly how to sort. This is not so important if you pay for sorting and collection, but it is still very useful for understanding which products are more environmentally friendly.
How to Teach Yourself and Your Loved Ones to Sort
So, you are grounded in theory and ready to move on to practice. As with any new habit, take your time and start with the simplest things, like folding paper and glass separately. There is no difficulty with markings: you just need to rinse the glass with water and check if there are any residues of fat and food on the paper (then it goes to non-recyclable waste). This small beginning will already give you the strength and inspiration to move on.
