Dear President-elect Biden,
Congratulations on your win!

America is deeply in trouble. “We the People” simply do not know what to do, other than periodically casting our vote of “no confidence” to elect someone, anyone, very different to be President – first Barack Obama, then Donald Trump.
Unfortunately for America, neither has worked out. So, America has chosen to “settle” on you …
A “settlement”?
Yes!
Like many Independents, I voted for Donald Trump in 2016 for change, but voted against him in 2020 for normalcy. In other words, you did not really win, but President Trump lost – He has finally succeeded in unifying more than 50% of the country, against him!
Normalcy is what most Americans want, but transformational change is what America needs.
You can do both: after restoring normalcy, change America, fundamentally and significantly with political reforms!
Let me elaborate on each …
1. Restoring normalcy
You personally represent normalcy, based on your history and the temperament you demonstrated throughout the Presidential campaign.
An urgent task is obviously to contain Covid-19. I am confident you can do it, as you obviously understand the simple truth: there will be no real recovery, without bringing the virus under control first!
I believe President Trump understood it, too.
Why, then, did he not do it, based on such a basic understanding?
“Getting re-elected ad nauseam“!

2. Political reforms
Two big items for you:
- You must be a one-term President, voluntarily, for the same reason as I forewarned President-elect Trump in December 2016 (President Trump Must Be One-Term, Voluntarily!). Additionally, you will be 78 in a few days!
- You must reform the American Presidency! For example, make the one-term limit permanent. Moreover, the fact that the Democratic Party could only come up with three very old men (i.e. you, Bernie Sanders, and Michael Bloomberg) as the front runners in 2020 spoke loudly about the party: It’s so like the USSR in the 1970-1980s. 3. Transferring my hopes from Trump to Biden
