The West is deeply in trouble. Two huge examples:

1. Covid-19: East Asian countries (e.g. China, South Korea, and Taiwan) have handled it much better than the West (e.g. the U.S., the U.K., and Italy).
2. Black Lives Matter: There are huge protests across the West, while it’s a non-issue in East Asia.

So, it’s time for the West to learn more about, and from, East Asian civilizations! In this post, I will provide three videos to get it started.

East Asian civilizations, from the languages to the cultures, are deeply rooted in Chinese civilization, which should be easily understandable, if you just look at the map below.

In a globalized world like ours, it’s critical that the U.S. and China, two largest economies in the world, work co-operatively.

Unfortunately, not only has China-bashing become a bi-partisan sport in America, some American politicians also have been trying to demonize China (Tom Cotton accuses China of intentionally seeding coronavirus cases in other countries to maintain power).

Totally stupid!

Worse yet, America, as a country, is fundamentally flawed, with no justice (America: Justice in Unjust Land?), no peace (America: Peace in Violent Land?), and no governance (Governance in America). For more, watch the video at the end of this post.

Worst of all, most Americans are either ignorant or in denial!

What a stark contrast with East Asian civilizations, especially China!

As a Chinese-American, I am caught between a rock and a hard place. On one hand, I wish China, my native country, well – She suffered severely over the past 200 years. On the other hand, I wish America, my adopted country, well – She must stop her precipitous decline, if she ever hopes to restore her status as the shining city upon the hill. Most importantly, there must be no war, trade or otherwise, between the two largest economies in the world!

So, what do I do?

I write, Saving America, Chinese Style!
