Why Do I Support “Bloomberg 2020”?

As an independent, I support “Bloomberg 2020″ for two main reasons:

  1. Change, just like I supported “Trump 2016” (Donald Trump vs. Hillary Clinton).
  2. No “leading” Democratic Presidential candidate (e.g. Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders) can possibly beat President Trump in 2020.

Let me elaborate on each …

1. Change!

America is deeply in trouble. “We the People” simply do not know what to do, other than periodically casting our vote of “no confidence” to elect someone, anyone, very different to be the President – first Barack Obama, then Donald Trump. Unfortunately for America, neither has worked out …

In short, President Trump must go!

But who can beat him on the ballot?

2. The “leading” Democratic candidates are hopeless!

Who are the “leading” candidates in the Democratic Party?

Top three: Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders.

Why are they hopeless?

None of them can possibly beat Trump in 2020!

Why not?

Two main reasons:

  1. They represent the “establishment”, which American people detest, perhaps even more so in 2020 than in 2016 (GOP Establishment vs. “We the people”).
  2. They are so far left that they cannot possibly win the votes in the middle, which is absolutely essential to beat President Trump!

Simple math: Trump’s base is solid 35% of the electorate. Most of them vote – Say, 90% of them (or 31.5% of the electorate) will vote in 2020. So, it would require a voter turnout of 63% in order for a Democratic candidate to break even with Trump, the Electoral College notwithstanding. Unfortunately, over the past few decades at least, there has not been a single Presidential election with a voter turnout more than 63%! Therefore, unless the Democratic Party nominates a center-left (or even center-right) figure like Michael Bloomberg, on top of working really hard on voter turnout, Trump will win in 2020, by landslide (More Investors Expect Trump to Win in 2020, RBC Survey Says)!

3. Who is Michael Bloomberg?

Below is an excerpt from Wikipedia – Michael Bloomberg.

Michael Rubens Bloomberg[1] (born February 14, 1942) is an American politician, businessman, and author. He is the co-founder, CEO, and majority owner of Bloomberg L.P. He was mayor of New York City from 2002 to 2013. On November 24, 2019 he announced his candidacy for the 2020 United States presidential election.

The image below highlights my assessment of Bloomberg.

Very importantly, Michael Bloomberg is a real billionaire, with much more money than Donald Trump can possibly make up, which alone can drive Donald Trump crazy, especially as they go head-to-head.

4. Discussion

Michael Bloomberg is not a perfect candidate. Two examples:

  1. He may be too old, as he will be almost 79 when he takes office in January 2021.
  2. He is not the best orator, as often required in American politics.

But he is the best available. For more, read: Michael Bloomberg: The Next Roosevelt?

Very importantly, he may have it to truly MAGA – Make America Great Again, as I have suggested (American Democracy – Why is it failing & how to fix it?).

5. Closing

Michael Bloomberg is the only hope for Democrats to defeat President Trump in 2020. So, let’s give him a chance!

Now, please sit back and enjoy the short video below.
