Statista and Forbes worked together to find out which U.S. companies are offering their employees the very best deal. Along with the Best Large Employers involving companies and organizations with 5,000 or more employees, midsize employers were also analyzed. Focusing on companies with 1,000 to 5,000 employees, the Best Midsize Employers 2019 was topped by website Tripadvisor with a score of 9.48 out of 10.

According to its website, Tripadvisor offers various health plan options for its staff members as well as a retirement savings plan. It also offers various discount programs and personal travel reimbursement. Penguin Random House came first last year and in the 2019 ranking, it comes second with a score of 9.35. It has been praised by its employees for generous maternity/paternity leave, a solid 401K plan and good health insurance options.
