Again, we bombed Syria (The U.S. just bombed 3 sites in Syria). Again, it was for no valid reason – Apparently, someone might have used chemical weapons in Syria and we held the Assad regime accountable, without any real proof!

1. What’s wrong this time?
It was wrong for the same reason as it was wrong last time (Trump-Xi summit overshadowed by US strike on Syria)!
Tucker Carlson nailed it – Watch the video below.
2. History repeats itself?
Very likely! Two prominent examples:
- America initiated the Spanish-American War, under a false explanation of the mysterious explosion the USS Maine in Havana Harbor in Cuba.
- America launched the Iraq War, under a false assumption of WMDs.
What do these dubious wars have in common? They all happened during the first-term of the sitting President at the time (i.e. William McKinley, George W. Bush, and Donald Trump)! Getting re-elected ad nauseam?

3. What is our policy on Syria?
None!
Worse yet, we keep bombing and destructing, as if there is impunity. For more, read: 9/11: Remembered in America, But Not Understood!

4. What is our policy on the Mideast?
Is the image below worth more than 1,000 words?

Three informative readings on the Mideast:
- The Middle East ABC for Americans.
- The Middle East without America?
- America’s Post-WWII Foreign Policy.
5. Has America become a war-monger?
Yes! As a matter of fact, America is the only country that has had at least one war for every decade since the end of WWII!
Why and how? Three informative readings:
We, America, also test and use our newest weapons in these wars. Here is one example: U.S. drops ‘mother of all bombs’ in Afghanistan, marking weapon’s first use.
6. Discussion
President Trump offered some hope to fundamentally right the wrongs in our foreign policy. But that hope is diminishing as his Presidency is moving along – The system has changed him more than the other way around!
Specifically, President Trump sounds more and more like President George W. Bush. Two examples:
- War declaration – See video below.
- The use of the phrase “mission accomplished” (Trump defends use of ‘mission accomplished’ phrase for Syria strike).
For more on what’s wrong with our failing political system and a real solution, please read my last book: American Democracy – Why is it failing & how to fix it?
7. Closing
There was no valid reason for us to have bombed Syria this time!
Now, please read this BBC article: Assad denies use of chemical weapons. Is it possible that Assad might be telling the truth in the video?
Finally, relax and sit back to watch this video, just out:
