Last night (24 January 2018) Sen. Bernie Sanders (I, VT) went to the people with a national Town Hall Meeting which was viewed live on Facebook. The purpose was to raise awareness about his healthcare bill which is called Medicare For All (Senate Bill 1804). As opposed to previous similar legislation he has proposed, this time he has 16 Democratic senators co-sponsoring. It was estimated that over 1 million people watched the town hall live. An uncounted number have watched video since. We have counted over 150,000 on YouTube alone as this is being written. Watch the video below (from The Young Turks, one of the town hall sponsors.
