According to new data released by Eurostat, smoking is still prevalent across Eastern Europe.

The highest rate of smoking was 34.8 percent, recorded in Bulgaria. Sweden was at the very opposite end of the scale with a smoking rate of 16.7 percent among those aged 15 and over. The UK was slightly higher with a 17.3 percent share.
