Taylor Swift tops the earnings charts in 2016 as the musician with the most pre-tax income in the world.
Her North America tour alone grossed over $200 million, adding to the popstar’s personal grand total of $170 million. Adele experienced another blockbuster year after her hugely successful album25 helped her towards an income of $80.5 million. In seventh place are AC/DC who, despite the loss of their frontman Brian Johnson, netted earnings of $67.5 million.
