Obama is due to give out his final Presidential Medal of Freedom awards today.
According to whitehouse.gov, the president will have awarded 114 over the course of his two terms – more than any other President. Statista has classified each recipient by the field in which they were renowned, revealing that worlds of activism and music have been the most recognised by Obama, with 14 and 13 medals respectively.
