Trump’s election victory, Brexit and the rise of the far-right across Europe could be the “political phenomenon of the next decade“, according to research from YouGov.

Many voters across Europe have been united by anti-immigration ideology and cynicism over human rights. 63 percent of people in France have authoritarian populist views compared with 48 percent in the UK.
