Have you recently visited your local taxidermist and found the experience a little bit unnerving?
If so, you aren’t alone. Taxidermist was rated one of the world’s creepiest occupations in the scientific journal “New Ideas in Psychology”. Respondents reported that clown is the job with the very highest level of creepiness, little surprise given the recent spate of “creepy clown” sightings in countries around the world. Sex-shop owners also made the list, along with funeral directors and taxi drivers.
This chart shows occupations rated as creepy by respondents on a scale of 1 to 5.
