While Mondelez (Cadbury, Oreo, Milka among others) was the largest confectionery manufacturer in the UK in terms of revenue for the 52 weeks ending 24 April 2016, the American food giant only saw modest year on year growth at 3.1 percent.
The biggest gains were bagged by Lindt & Sprüngli. Growth of16.8 percent led to revenue of 127.9 million pounds. Mars, on the other hand, suffered a 3.5 percent drop in income.
