While Trump himself disclosed a fortune “in excess of ten billion dollars” when filing his financial disclosure to the Federal Election Commission this year, Bloomberg, Forbes, and Fortune disagree with this valuation somewhat. Having slashed 800 million dollars off their estimate this week due to a weakening New York property market, Forbes value Mr Trump’s net worth at 3.7 billion dollars.
