Airbnb has over 2 million listings in 191 countries, offering travellers an afforable and well-located rental option in cities around the world.

Earlier this year, Berlin banned people from renting entire flats on the platform in order to prevent a housing shortage in the German capital. Could a similar situation occur in the United States? With the commercial share of Airbnb rentals growing steadily, property supply could be impacted at some point in the future, making it a possibility.
