If you want to live in one of the most “liveable” cities in the world, you’d better pack your bags and head for Canada or Australia.

According to the Economist Intelligence Unit’s (EIU) Global Liveability Ranking, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth in Australia all make the list of the top-10 most liveable cities. It’s the same story for Canada with Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary all in the top-10. Vienna, Helsinki and Hamburg are also notable cities in Europe.
This chart shows global cities ranked by liveability in 2016.
