Once again, the GOP establishment has lost its direction. Once again, it is at odds with “We the People” (GOP Establishment vs. “We the people”), by going against Trump, the choice of the people!
Two recent examples:

- 70 top Republicans call on the RNC to dump Trump: His “chance of being elected president are evaporating by the day”.
Why is the GOP establishment so self-destructing? Let me answer the question by making three points:
- The pre-Trump GOP is dead! It has become obvious that many in the GOP establishment prefer Hillary Clinton over Trump, in order to maintain the status quo.
- Trump is the best thing that has happened to the GOP this century, at least!
- Trump, like Hillary Clinton, is a very flawed candidate!
Let me further elaborate on each …
1. The pre-Trump GOP is dead!
Two main reasons:
- Self-destruction!
- It has lost any chance for the American Presidency!
1.1 Self-destruction!
In an advanced democracy like ours, the Democrats will win all elections over time, by attrition!
Therefore, it is critical for the GOP to periodically come up with some grand new ideas that will resonate with many swing voters. Unfortunately, the GOP has proven to be incapable of doing that over the past decade, at least!
Worse yet, the GOP has been seriously self-destructing, taking America down with it. Two significant examples:
- The GOP has been recklessly pandering to the MIC (Military-Industrial Complex), in the name of “strong on defense” (aka “welfare for the rich”), for the past five decades, at least! For more, read: Fixing the Military-Industrial Complex!
- President George W. Bush destroyed the GOP by recklessly launching the Iraq War in March 2003! For more, read: 9/11 Attack vs. Pearl Harbor Attack.
1.2 The pre-Trump GOP has lost any chance for the American Presidency!
Thanks to the total destruction of the GOP by the George W. Bush Presidency, the past two GOP Presidential candidates (i.e. John McCain and Mitt Romney) had zero chance to win!
Many, if not most, Americans believe America is on the wrong track. But without the American Presidency, the GOP cannot change anything, let alone the direction! In other words, winning the American Presidency is not everything – It is the only thing!
2. Trump is the best thing that has happened to the GOP this century, at least!
Trump has been running a completely unorthodox campaign with extraordinary results. For example, Trump received more votes in the GOP primaries than all his predecessors, dramatically expanding the GOP tent!
Yes, many people voted for Trump, not for the GOP!
Yes, Trump is the last hope for the GOP! In other words, if Trump is circumvented, by the GOP establishment, from winning the American Presidency this time, the GOP may never win it again!
3. Trump is a very flawed candidate!
Trump is a very flawed candidate, but he is still far better than his opponent, Hillary Clinton, who is even more flawed and untrustworthy!
As the GOP nominee for President, Trump deserves the support of all Republicans, especially all the former 2016 GOP Presidential candidates who pledged to do so before they failed!
No, Trump is not even a Republican per se! Instead, he is a de facto Libertarian! But he is smart enough to run as a Republican.
Yes, Trump has hijacked the Republican Party and will further transform it for the better after he becomes the President! For more, read: Fixing the Military-Industrial Complex!
4. Closing
