Gun Massacres in America

Another gun massacre in America (50 killed in Florida gay club massacre, deadliest mass shooting in US history); another national mourning (Obama Orders Flags Lowered to Half-Staff to Honor Victims of Orlando Shooting); another wasted opportunity with meaningless hand-wringing (Chicago Tribune Editorials: Massacre in Orlando); another wait for the next massacre to occur – not whether, but when and where in America; perhaps if it will even set another new record in terms of the number of total deaths!

Simply put, when bad people have guns, bad things happen. There are just too many bad people having guns in America!

1. Guns

There are many bad people, including mentally disturbed, in all countries around the world. But they cause most damage in America for one main reason: the wide availability of guns, especially the assault weapons.

Now, remember President Reagan …

Even Bernie Sanders has got this one right (Bernie Sanders calls automatic weapons ban after Orlando mass shooting)!

But will America listen? No! Why not? Guns to America are like bread and butter to mankind!

2. Bad people

While we mourn the victims of gun massacres at home, do you know that our drones are killing many innocent people abroad (Nearly 90% of people killed in recent drone strikes were not the target). Do not you think there will be serious repercussions to this kind of massive mad killings by our drones abroad?

More broadly, America’s post-WWII foreign policy, especially after 1991 when the Cold War ended, must be thoroughly reviewed! For more, read: America’s Post-WWII Foreign Policy. Specifically, two prominent points:

  1. Americans must better understand 9/11! For more, read: 9/11 Attack vs. Pearl Harbor Attack.
  2. Today, there is just too much Islam bashing in America! It is totally stupid and utterly dangerous, as I have repeatedly warned. For more, read: America: Stop Islam Bashing!

3. Better understanding Islam

It’s critical for westerners, especially Americans, to better understand Islam. Here is a good and short article: How Islam Is Different From Other Religions.

In short, it’s different, but not [necessarily] bad!

4. Discussion

Once again, when bad people have guns, bad things happen. There are just too many bad people having guns in America!

We must address both the bad people and guns!

Unfortunately, President Obama has failed on both! Specifically,

  1. Bad people: He is simply incompetent, at best, in this regard, having turned many good people into bad ones, especially in the Mideast! For more, read: President Obama and War and Fixing the Military-Industrial Complex!
  2. Guns: He purposely ignores the Constitution, as illustrated by the image below! More basically, he does not seem to understand that it is his job to work with Congress to find solutions – What a disastrous President!

As a result, there have been more, and worse, gun massacres over the past eight years!

There is now a unique opportunity for big and positive changes in America: electing a competent President this November!

With President Hillary Clinton, it would be more of the same along the current line, which means everything would be getting worse only! On the other hand, with President Trump, there may be changes for the better – fingers crossed!

Give Donald Trump a chance as the next American President!

I will vote for Trump, despite his anti-Muslim rhetoric! Why? Because he has the potential of fixing the MIC (Military-Industrial Complex)! Two important notes:

  1. The MIC is far more dangerous to America than terrorism per se!
  2. Both Hillary and Bill Clinton are part of the MIC!

For more, read: Fixing the Military-Industrial Complex!

5. Closing

There is no easy solution to “gun massacres in Americaâ€! Let’s understand the problem more by watching the video below …
