Thanksgiving weekend traditionally kicks off the holiday shopping season in the United States.
Over the course of the next few weeks, millions of Americans will flock to stores to find the right Christmas presents for their loved-ones. Doing so can be quite stressful but thankfully most people carry around the perfect little helper to make holiday shopping a little bit easier: a smartphone.
According to Deloitte’s 2015 Holiday Survey, 78 percent of American consumers plan to use their smartphone while doing their holiday shopping, up from 72 percent in 2014. Thankfully for physical retailers, getting store locations is the most popular smartphone activity among holiday shoppers.
