In the wake of last Friday’s terrorist attacks across Paris, the Independent asked Statista to make an infographic based on the 2015 Global Terrorism Index.
32,658 people were killed by terrorists worldwide last year, an 80 percent increase on 2013. Seven of the 10 worst affected countries have Muslim majorities.
