A fraudulent group has been identified using the Twitter account @ShibaInuHQ, employing deceptive tactics by promoting a purported SHIB “giveaway.” The account falsely presents itself as the “Official Twitter Account for the Shiba Inu Ecosystem,” utilizing a profile picture from the SHIB Metaverse to mislead SHIB enthusiasts. It urges users to visit their website to participate in the supposed giveaway.
Presently, they are enticing SHIB supporters with an extravagant “SHIB/BONE/LEASH” giveaway valued at $30,000,000 exclusively for active Ethereum wallets. The substantial monetary value appears excessively large for giveaways typically organized by legitimate cryptocurrency exchanges or platforms.
The Twitter account “Shibarmy Scam Alerts” is actively encouraging the SHIB community to report the aforementioned SHIB scam account. Lucie, the Official Content Marketing Specialist, has already taken the necessary action by reporting it herself, as she shared in her tweet.

In an attempt to appear more credible, the scam account engages in retweeting posts from official accounts associated with the Shiba Inu token and the SHIB Metaverse. One notable instance was when they retweeted a post from the Metaverse account concerning a giveaway of 10 parcels of virtual land within the Metaverse.
