TVs, PCs, smartphones, tablets – never before have screens played such a prominent role in people’s lives as they do today.
A typical day for many people looks like this: checking email on a smartphone after getting up, reading the news on a tablet while commuting to work, then working on a computer for 8 to 10 hours before getting back home and watching TV.
We are literally surrounded by screens and people are very aware of that fact. According to a survey conducted by Ipsos among more than 16,000 consumers from 20 countries, 60% of consumers feel like they are constantly looking at screen these days.
This chart shows the percentage of people in selected countries stating that they are “constantly looking at screens these days”.
