Econintersect: On Monday 05 May 2014, Global Economic Intersection moved into the top 60,000 ranking list for all websites in the world. This is the first time that high a ranking has been achieved. A week earlier GEI had attained a ranking in the top 15,000 websites in the United States for the first time. The data is reported by Alexa, a subsidiary of Amazon.com.

Traffic for GEI comes from around the world but the U.S. has always provided more traffic than any other country. The current traffic analysis is shown below. Other countries beside the two shown that have at various times been second or third on this list are Canada, UK and Australia.
