Econintersect: The administration released the president’s proposed 2015 budget on Tuesday (04 March 2014). It calls for a net increase in spending, although there are almost as many ares being cut as being increased. The largest cuts (on a perecentage basis) are in Health & Human Services and Agriculture. The largest areas of the budget with proposed increases are Education and Veterans Affairs.
