Econintersect: Livingston Survey economists, who conduct a survey by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia twice a year, project in their June 2013 survey:
- GDP growth rising from 2.1% (from their last survey) to 2.2% (annual rate) in the first half of 2013
- GDP growth is then projected remain at 2.3% in the second half of the year.
- The unemployment rate was last projected to be 7.8% in June 2013, and 7.7% in December 2013 – and is now projected lower at 7.5% and 7.4% respectively.
