Econintersect: Just one year ago 25% of benefits professionals thought that PPACA (Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare) would never be implemented. This year, the same survey found that 0% doubted implementation and more than 3/4 thought implementation would be complete, although 45% thought there would be timeline delays before the job was done. In June 2012 less than 1/3 thought implementation would be fully carried out.

What were the survey results details about PPACA last year?
What a difference a year makes.
The nature of agency provision of insurance plans through Obamacare will be changing. Commission compensation is one area where benefits p;rofessionals ahve concern. Insurance agents and brokers expect to see average commissions decline, but more than half expect declines to be less than 25% and that amount could be at least partly offset by increased volumes.
