Econintersect: Managing Editor and Co-founder of Econintersect LLC has been named an Associate Member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS). Associate Members are internet professionals with accomplishments such as as award winners and nominees, online writers and editors. There are currently 366 Associate Members of IADAS.

IADAS is an intellectually diverse organization that includes over 750 Executive Academy members such as musicians David Bowie and Beck, Martha Stewart, Virgin Group founder Richard Branson, Internet inventor and Google Chief Internet Evangelist Vinton Cerf, “Simpsons” creator Matt Groening, Real Networks CEO Rob Glaser, Huffington Post Founder Arianna Huffington, and AKQA Global Creative Chief Rei Inamoto.
Associate Members of IADAS are former Webby Award Winners and Nominees and other Internet professionals. Members also include writers and editors from publications such as The New York Times, Wired, Forbes, Details, Fast Company, Elle, The Los Angeles Times, Vibe, and WallPaper.
Membership in IADAS is currently by invitation only and is limited to those individuals who have catalyzed great achievements on the Internet, demonstrated extraordinary talent in a traditional medium, or who possess in-depth knowledge of new media and comprehensive familiarity with a broad range of sites within a category.
