Frank Li was born and raised in China, obtained post-graduate engineering degrees in Japan and the U.S. and is today a successful business entrepreneur and U.S. citizen living in the U.S. heartland. He has a unique historical perspective. His father was a twice purged Communist Party official in China, the first purge coming when Dr. Li was still a minor living at home. He has personally experienced the severe deprivation that accompanied those affected by that era of Chinese history.
