Econintersect: Noted economist and investment manager Warren Mosler has been appointed Senior Financial Advisor to Ronald E. Russell, President of the U.S. Virgin Islands Legislature. Mosler will provide “advice, expiration, analysis, execution and compliance with regard to the financial matters of the United States Virgin Islands.”
Mosler is a resident of the U.S. V.I., is CEO of Mosler Auto, Delray Beach, FL, one of the world’s premiere custom sports car manufacturers, as well as President of Valence Co. Inc., St. Croix, U.S.V.I. (Financial Management Services) and Principal and Co-Founder of both AVM L.P. (a registered brokerage firm) and III Associates (a $1.6 billion capital fund manager). AVM and III are both situate in Boca Raton, FL.
Mosler will provide “advice, expiration, analysis, execution and compliance with regard to the financial matters of the United States Virgin Islands.”

Mosler is currently Senior Associate Fellow with the Cambridge Center for Economic and Public Policy at Cambridge, UK. He is a frequent contributor to Global Economic Intersection and is a founder of Modern Monetary Theory with the book “The 7 Deadly Immocent Frauds of Economic Policy.“
