Econintersect: The weight of oil price uncertainty was too much for many European bourses Friday (March 4). Six of the ten major markets were in the red. The gainers were led by oil producing Norway, with the Oslo exchange up 0.8%. Brussels tacked on 0.4%, Stockholm 0.3% and Amsterdam managed to add 0.1%.Losers were led by Paris and Geneva, both of which lost 1%. Three markets (Frankfurt, Madrid and Vienna) each lost 0.6%, while London managed to lose only 0.2%.
