Econintersect: The indexes followed by GEI were all down in the Americas this week. The strongest index was the very defensive Dow Jones Utilities, down only 0.1%, and the natural resource heavy Toronto Exchange, down 0.5%. With the spike in fuel costs the Dow Jones Transports were especially hard hot, with losses totalling 4.5%. All other indexes were down from 1.7% to 2.2%.Four of the nine indexes are now is the red for 2011. Results summary:
