Econintersect: Asia/Pacific stock markets had strong performance last week – all eleven major markets were up and ten by more than 1%. Singapore was the weakest with a meager gain of 0.3%. Two markets, Shanghai (-0.9%) and Mumbai (-1.6%) finished the week with down days on Friday.
The strongest markets, Hong Kong and Jakarta, were up more than 3% for the week. Complete results:
