Econintersect: The Egyptian stock remained closed today as civil unrest continued to rock the country. However the ETF EGPT, trading on the New York Stock Exchange, rebounded almost 8% Monday. This followed a 22% decline over the ten days ending January 28. The dramatic stock price chart is shown below. Other Middle Eastern and North African markets traded in a less dramatic range.
