Econintersect: Saudi, Egypt and Tunisia stocks suffered big losses in recent days. Sunday (January 30) Egyptian markets remained closed and Tunisia was closed as well. However Saudi markets regained more than 1/3 of Saturday’s sharp losses, closing up 2.5% for the day.
Other middle eastern markets, which had traded fractionally on Saturday, took sizable hits on Sunday: Dubai(-4.3%), Abu Dhabi (-3.7%), Qatar (-3%), Jordan (-2.3%) and Kuwait (-1.8%).
