Econintersect: Rail traffic for w/e 18 December remains declined sharply viewing the data YoY. Early in 2010, rail’s performance YoY was growing. It stabilized in the middle of the 2Q – and early in the 4th quarter began trending down. YoY growth dropped sharply this week from approximately 12% to 2.2%. Four week rolling average growth declined from 8.7% to 7.6%.
