Altos Research – The first report for the housing market in November has been released. Altos Research 20-city composite declined to a new cycle low, with the price index well below the previous low set in January, 2009. Altos Research follows the same markets as the Case-Shiller 20-city composite.
Altos Research concentrates most of their pubicized research on their 10-city composite. From that report:
Several markets are starting to show potential stability in home prices, including cities such as Miami, which begins its seasonal uptick before the national market.
Elsewhere in the report they state that 23 of the 26 markets they follow had price declines in November. They also found sharp inventory declines in some markets.
