The latest claim against Bernard Madoff’s Ponzi scheme is a whopper: $19.6 billion is sought from Sonja Kohn, founder of Austria’s Medici Bank. Irving H. Picard, Trustee for the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investments Securities LLC, has filed court claims for recovery of more than $40 billion.
