How did the U.S. become the country with the worst known coronavirus outbreak in the world? FRONTLINE and veteran science reporter Miles O’Brien investigate the American response to COVID-19, and examine what happens when politics and science collide.
It has been my comment to friends for some time that this pandemic and the “management” of the threat by the U.S. specifically (as well as the reactions of some citizens) are playing out like a @StephenKing novel. It has been my expressed hope that future events would not proceed to a King novel-like ending. But how this will end is not clear and may not be for some time, perhaps for many months or up to a year.
